  • Bill Medical Claims
  • Follow up with insurance payers on outstanding AR
  • Validate correct payment from insurance payers
  • Prepare follow up material for insurance payers
  • Document all actions taken
  • Participate in continuous improvements

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • HFMA CRCR Certification a plus
  • Experience in healthcare billing and collections

Additional Qualifications

  • Hospital facility experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Solves problems effectively
  • Works well with others
  • Knows UB-04 and 1500 claims
  • Understands basic medical terminology

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: DOE

  • Potential for monthly performance bonus up to $250
